To whom may discern my nonsense,

First off, F Cuccurullo Designs is analogous with myself, Francesca Cuccurullo. Therefore, explaining my own inner workings may be useful to those intrigued.

I come from a background of Visual Arts and Art History which has greatly informed my fascination with visual storytelling through garments.

I believe all work should come from a core point of inspiration, a driving force to steer you in a clear direction, whatever that force may be, it provides a basis for branches of creativity.

An obsession with curation led me to complete my tattoo apprenticeship, initially for the purpose of lending a hand to those who also wished to personally curate. It has inevitably provided my base skill for the tattooed leather signature I have used in my Graduate Collection.

However the main motivation of all my creative endeavours is the desire to visualise the state of my psyche. Inspired by (some would say obsessed with) the surrealists, in particular Salvador Dali and Breton’s theory of surrealism articulated in the 1924 Manifesto. I found others in history looking internally at the uncanny as a theoretical catalyst for visual representations.

To conclude this rambling self assessment:

 I’m obsessively passionate, a geek about not so geeky stuff, and focussed highly on curation: personal and artistic and these are the fruits of my labours:
