CLO3D x Vivienne Westwood

AN EXPOSED RIOT

〰️

AN EXPOSED RIOT 〰️

An Exposed Riot is my interpretation of Cut, Slash and Corset. I created a Vivienne Westwood inspired look with a structured corset body, asymmetrical tailored shirt and denim skirt with tartan frills.

I created my own tartan inspired by the Harris Tweed tartan utilised in Westwood's collections. The colour palette is inspired by romantic moods reminiscent of the Portrait Collection (1990). I took textures from hand paintings I did for the shirt, digitally edited to colour match the tartan. Taking inspiration from Westwoods own collaboration of visual arts and fashion.

The background is inspired by the shattered glass window in Rene Magritte's The Key to the Fields (1936). It is situated in a dark exposed environment juxtaposed by the cinematic sunset in the window, a photo of the view from my Sydney apartment.

I created the garments, background, pose, avatar and animation in CLO3D.

This project combines the romanticism and juxtaposing edge Vivienne Westwood is known for: Cut Slash Corset: An Exposed Riot.
